On December 14, 2015 a dissemination seminar was held for teachers of Turiba University, Latvia. In the seminar the project team introduced the seminar participants – language teachers and teachers of tourism courses – with the created tasks for A2/B1 language courses in Latvian and the most popular foreign languages spoken in Latvia – English, Russian, German, Spanish and French. The project team demonstrated the learning program and explained how the tasks had been created and how the course will be implemented in practice. The teachers of Turiba University also had an opportunity to get acquainted with the draft of B2/C1 English course and they expressed various useful ideas on how to better design the tasks so that they would match the learners’ needs.

This was the third dissemination that I ran at this hotel so it was very interesting to see how far they had remembered what I had demonstrated and how far they were convinced that they should adopt the materials for improving their own language skills.
Again it was difficult to get more than one or two people together at the same time as the hotel could not spare them for a group presentation. So individual demonstrations were given, spread over several days. This proved an advantage as each member of staff could ask their own questions and use the Front Desk programs and play with the digital maps on the laptop themselves and see how easy they were to handle.
Many of them came up with interesting reactions, and new ideas - some of which we have felt able to implement on later versions.
Several had I-Phones so it was not possible for them to install the apps on them. But those with Android smartphones or tablets had a lot of fun exploring the kind of sentences available in a variety of languages.
Most of them said they would very much like to have Front Desk and the apps available for them to use in their spare time.

From the 3rd to the 5th of November 2015 IPSSA “Nino Bergese” was hosted at Genoa's salone dell'orientamento (education fair), an event attended by final year students from middle and secondary schools choosing their future educational paths. “Nino Bergese” was assigned a stand managed by students and teachers who were in charge of promoting the school's activities. We took advantage of this opportunity to also advertise the Keyskills4euhotelstaff project and pilot the mobile phone apps. We projected a power point presentation describing the project's aims and contents and provided detailed information about it to those who appeared interested. We also showed how the mobile apps work and let curious people play with them. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to hand out questionnaires as the space we were assigned was quite small with nowhere to sit. However, most of the people who asked us for more information about the project and the apps were enthusiastic about them and thought that they are both very useful and innovative ideas. On 4 November, Nino Bergese's staff officially introduced the project during an Erasmus plus conference attended by people currently working on Erasmus plus projects. We handed out leaflets and replied to people's questions about our project. The audience's feedback was very positive and all of the people who tested the apps found them extremely useful and interesting.
