Until now other translations have been done as well. At the moment 50 traditional dishes of 12 European countries are being translated into all 12 European languages. They were also told about the learning platform and the purpose of it. But the important product of the project for them seemed to be the smartphone app which will be available to anybody who would like to use it as all the material created within the project. Project flyers were handed to them so that they can contact us if they are interested in more details and to provide other people with some information about the project. Dissemination at school board meeting at Ekonomska šola Murska Sobota, Slovenia

Dissemination at the meeting of school board at Ekonomska šola Murska Sobota

On 26 February 2015 the school board of Ekonomska šola Murska Sobota had a meeting with quite an interesting agenda. Among all other points was the presentation of the project »Key Skills for European Union Hotel Staff«. As the school board is composed of representatives of the Ministry of Education, the local community, the strategic board, parents, school employees and students of the secondary school as well as the higher vocational school, this was a nice opportunity to disseminate information about the project. So the school board was informed about the project partners, the main goals and the products of the project as well as the work that had been done so far. So far a joint needs analysis report for six European countries has been prepared, whereby each project partner carried out a survey to find out about the needs of tourism, hotel and hospitality staff regarding languages for their own country. The course syllabus for 12 European languages for the language level A2/B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages is prepared and being translated into all 12 European languages. Until now other translations have been done as well, for example, translating questions and answers on different occasions such as at the seaside, at a skiing resort or in a restaurant. At the moment 50 traditional dishes of 12 European countries are being translated into all 12 European languages. They were also told about the learning platform and the purpose of it. But the most exciting product of the project for them seemed to be the smartphone app which will be available to anybody who would like to use it as all the material created within the project. I handed them out the project flyers so that they can contact us if they are interested in more details and to provide other people with some information about the project. All of them were quite impressed especially because the project results and products will be useful not only for a small target group but for a broader public in at least 12 European countries or even more.
