Final project meeting in Murska Sobota, Slovenia, June 15-17, 2016

 

The fifth meeting for the Erasmus+ project KEY SKILLS FOR EUROPEAN UNION HOTEL STAFF (project no.2014-1-HR01-KA204-007224) was held in Murska sobota, Slovenia. The meeting was organized by the project partners Ekonomska šola Murska Sobota (Slovenia) and was attended by all the other project partners' representatives: Tourism and Catering School Dubrovnik (Croatia), Primrose Publishing (UK), IPSSA Nino Bergese (Italy), Universitatea Sapientia din Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Turiba University  (Latvia). During the meeting held on June 15, there was the project dissemination event organized with stakeholders from Slovenia. It was also attended by invited representatives of stakeholders from partner countries. This event was very well attended. In addition, invited industry representatives from different countries shared their impressions of the project results and the feedback was really positive. The event was also attended by Slovenian national television representatives interviewed by the project coordinators.

From 16 - 17 June there was a meeting held, the partners discussed the project development progress, analyzed the language modules results, as well as developed guidelines to improve and enhance the interest in the project design materials. Project Coordinator presented the Croatian National Agency audit results and acknowledged that the agency representatives were pleasantly surprised by the results of the project. Reminded all partners to provide financial documentation needed for the final report. It was also developed a sustainability plan that will ensure that the project materials developed would be used after the project completion.

The project partners have been taken to a guided tour at small and medium sized companies in the sector serving (Tropski vrt by Ocean Orchids and Radgonske Gorice).  All participants had the opportunity to be acquainted with their activities and the services they offer. All project participants  are very grateful to the Slovenian colleagues for the excellent welcome and hospitality.
