Workshop at Turiba University-2017

On 23 January 2017 two workshops were held for learners at Turiba University. The learners were introduced with the “Key Skills for European Hotel Staff” project and outputs created as well as with the new project “Language skills and intercultural issues in the hospitality industry: unity in diversity in the EU labour market” focusing on the new outputs to be created.

After this introduction the learners had a hands-on experience on exploring the learning program. They studied A2/B1 English course – the modules “Management offices”, “Hotel Business Centre”, “Hotel Reception” and B2/C1 modules “Hotel Front Office” and “Hotel Management” by their choice. Since the students’ language levels differed, they chose different modules and they were satisfied with this flexibility. The students also enjoyed the design and structure of the learning program.
